SleepWell is a fully static, sleep-aid web tool. We know sleep preferences are private, so the design principle is simple: we do not collect, upload or store any personal data.
No personal data is collected
There is no sign-up, login or account system, and no way to submit data. Your name, email, location, device information and browsing behavior are never collected, uploaded or used for any purpose.
Local storage (on your device only)
To make the tool convenient, settings such as language, volume and auto-stop time are kept in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server. Clearing your browser data will also clear these settings.
No cookies, minimal analytics
This site serves no ads and sets no cookies. We use one lightweight, first-party analytics script hosted on our own domain to count anonymous page views and improve the site. It never collects names, emails or other personal identifiers.
Not medical advice
The tool offers reference times based on the 90-minute sleep cycle and is for guidance only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan. If you struggle with chronic insomnia, please consult a doctor.
Audio licensing
All five sleep sounds on this site are released under CC0 (public domain) and may be used for any purpose.
Changes to this policy
If a future update ever involves collecting data, we will update this page and note it on the homepage.
